Biografía
JALEO REAL és un dels màxims exponents de la RUMBA CANALLA I MESTISSA
de la Ciutat Condal. La formació va néixer a la Barcelona del 2002,
aportant a la rumba el més pur toc de barri fusionat amb la llarga
trajectoria musical dels seus components. La banda fa una barreja de
reggae, son cubano, tango argentí, bossanova, hip-hop... e inclús al
més pur drum&bass, però sempre desemboca en la vigorositat de la
rumba de carrer aunque el grup autodefineix la seva música com a
"rumba de combat", un veritable passatemps de ritme.
Les lletres són un cant a la quotidianitat, reivindicant tot allò
popular i els plaers de la vida.
El quintet més peculiar de la ciutat ha passejat el seu primer treball
"Pichica" (ventilador-music) i el seu irresistible directe per mitja
europa: Alemanya, Suissa, França, Austria, República Txeca i fins i
tot ha arribat a Pakistàn (WPAF).
Sense oblidar els més dels 3 centenars de concerts per tota la
península, participant en diversos festivals, festes majors i sales de
totes les ciutats.
En aquest últim any alguns dels seus components han participat com a convidats en diversos discs recopilatoris i treballs de grups de
l'escena rumbera de la ciutat com Pantanito, El Tio Montero, Sota
Zero, Electroputas, Chalart58 (kinky beat) i d'altres.
Desprès d'aquesta etapa la banda de Barcelona pretenen tornar a
l'estudi per enregistrar el seu segon treball, que vol veure la llum
per la propera temporada.
